ABOUT
Metropolis 1998 is a fresh take on the modern city simulation experience in a retro pixel art style. Design your buildings, grow and maintain your city, manage real time traffic, and fulfill specific citizen needs in this massively simulated game!
Gone are the days of zone-based demand. Each citizen will have specific commercial and service needs, allowing those specific businesses to open and grow in your city. As the mayor, you will have the option to design the buildings in your city from scratch, and save them as blueprints for future plopping.
The game will display the interior of the buildings in the classic isometric perspective, as well as the information-rich top down perspective.
ESTIMATED RELEASE
Pre-alpha demo is available on itch.io, and will soon return to Steam (ETA July 2024)
Early Access release ETA is sometime between Q4 2024 and Q2 2025
